Facundo Martinez
Project Designer. CPHC
With over 15 years in architecture and a Master’s from the University of Idaho, Facundo brings a rigorous, science-driven approach to high-performance and sustainable design. He leads early-stage design efforts at our firm, where his passion for passive strategies, energy modeling, and material efficiency shapes projects from day one.
To Facundo, green design isn’t a buzzword—it’s a responsibility. It’s about using the right resources to minimize waste, maximize performance, and make every project the best it can be for the lowest long-term cost. “It means building today in a way that others can keep building tomorrow.”

Specializing in residential and small commercial work, he’s especially proud of projects that push boundaries—like a recent multifamily development that transformed an unbuildable lot into a vibrant, code-compliant community asset. His research-minded approach fuels our firm’s commitment to sustainability, not just by applying the latest innovations, but by challenging assumptions and clearing away the noise.

Clients value Facundo’s honesty, creativity, and collaborative spirit. He listens deeply, shares generously, and embraces every opportunity to turn uncertainty into clarity—through thoughtful design and shared vision.

Outside the studio, Facundo finds inspiration in fire-cooked meals, architectural debates with his wife, wrestling matches with his sons, and listening to his daughter sing. His advice for anyone interested in green design? “Study, ask questions, apply, teach—and repeat.”
