REGEN AEC designed a packaged, containerized wastewater treatment system for a Pilot travel center in Texas, using Fluence’s Aspiral membrane aerated biofilm reactor (MABR) technology to treat wastewater on site within a compact footprint. The self-contained unit fits the tight utility corridor typical of a travel center site while meeting discharge requirements without tying into an already-stressed municipal system.

The system was designed for a very small operational footprint, giving the site a low-maintenance, energy-efficient alternative to a conventional facility. The project reflects REGEN’s broader work bringing distributed, decentralized treatment to commercial and travel-center sites across Texas.
